JUNIOR DESIGN ENGINEER
Location: Northamptonshire, East Midlands

Summary of Role: Reporting to the R&D Manager, the successful candidate will be a graduate electronic engineer with a strong interest in guitar amplifiers and audio electronics. They must play electric guitar proficiently.

A thorough foundation in analogue and digital circuit design is essential and a hand’s on experience in valve circuits, PCB CAD and electronics in general will be a distinct advantage.

Key Tasks :
• Assisting in development and testing of new designs.
• PCB layout.
• General laboratory duties.
• Guitar testing of amplifiers.
• For digital electronics candidates experience in audio DSP and microcontroller hardware and software would be an advantage.

Skills Required:
• Qualified to HND level or above in electronics related subject.
• For analogue electronics candidates, experience of high voltage valve equipment would be an advantage.
• For digital electronics candidates experience in audio DSP and microcontroller hardware and software would be an advantage.
